Welcome to Brixham Historic Houses - Luxury Self Catering Holiday Accommodation in Brixham, South Devon. The Hill House, Captain's Quarters and Gull's Nest were built in 1861, as one property, for a sea captain of a three masted schooner who traded around the world.
The Captains Quarters reflects a Victorian atmosphere of formality with International antiques and artefacts; polished wooden floors with oriental carpets, or handmade tiles. The two bedroom suites and living area on three floors are linked by a dramatic spiral teak staircase.
Gulls' Nest was built in 1861, as an extension to the Hill House and Captains Quarters. Renovated in 2003, it has a modern, minimalist decor in the Gulls' palate of grey, white and black. Stone floors and practical leather furniture make it ideal for families but sophisticated enough for adults.
All utilities, bath and bed linen, as well as all the kitchen / bathroom / laundry essentials that a discerning traveller would expect are included - even a mobile phone!
